- I am in the Literacy Specialist program at Teachers College. I currently work with Kindergarten students at a public school in Brooklyn. I hope to gain new perspectives and understandings of what an image is and what its impact might be on not only my life but the human condition. I further hope to bring my new awarenesses into the critical literacy component of my curriculum, helping my students to be mindful and reflective of the images in their daily lives.
